Based in the heart of the City of London, just moments from the iconic Lloyd’s Building, Cameron Specialty Insurance Limited is an independent Managing General Agent (MGA), providing specialist insurance solutions to brokers across the UK.

Founded by Tom Kirkland in June 2021, Cameron Specialty Insurance began as a trading name of Profile Risk Solutions Limited, now known as Shape Underwriting. Built on a foundation of extensive market experience and strong insurer relationships, our ambition has always been to deliver flexible, competitive underwriting solutions without compromising on the personal service our brokers value.

On 1 December 2022, Cameron Specialty Insurance Limited became a separate trading entity, marking an exciting new chapter in our development. Today, we continue to operate independently as an Appointed Representative, maintaining a close working relationship with Shape Underwriting as our regulatory principal.

Since our inception, we have continued to grow, expanding our underwriting expertise, strengthening our insurer partnerships and developing lasting relationships with brokers throughout the market.
