Tom Kirkland

With over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tom began his career with Giles Insurance before moving into the London market, trading in Lloyd’s of London as a placing broker.
In June 2021, with the backing of HCC International Insurance and Profile Risk Solutions, Tom founded Cameron Specialty. Since then, he has led the company from strength to strength, driving its growth, expanding its product offerings, and establishing Cameron Specialty as a trusted and dynamic presence in the market.

Before joining Cameron Specialty, Louise held senior underwriting roles at Allianz Insurance and Ecclesiastical Insurance. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, she brings a wealth of knowledge and operational expertise to the team.
At Cameron Specialty, Louise oversees the company’s operational strategy and supports the continued development of underwriting processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and excellence across all areas of the business.

Lewis joined Cameron Specialty in June 2022 and has since progressed to the role of Underwriter. He began his insurance career at Profile Underwriting, where he supported senior underwriters in acquiring new business and managing both commercial property and liability risks.
At Cameron Specialty, Lewis plays an integral role within the underwriting team, contributing to the assessment, development, and management of the company’s portfolio. His analytical approach and commitment to service excellence make him a key member of the business.
Brooke Simpson

Brooke has been with Cameron Specialty for over two and a half years, having originally joined as an administrative assistant before progressing into her current role as Assistant Underwriter. During her time with the company, she has played a key role in supporting underwriting operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Brooke continues to develop her underwriting expertise and is a valued member of the team, recognised for her attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to delivering excellent service.

Alex is a Grade A A-Level student who has recently begun pursuing a career in insurance. As part of the Cameron Specialty team, Alex provides administrative and operational support across the business, assisting underwriters and brokers with documentation, data management, and client coordination.
Alex brings strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude to every task. Their academic achievement and enthusiasm for learning reflect a strong foundation for growth within Cameron Specialty’s dynamic environment.

Jack holds a 2:1 degree in Biology from the University of Bristol and is beginning his career in the insurance industry with Cameron Specialty. In his role as Administrative Assistant, Jack supports the team with underwriting administration, documentation, and day-to-day operational tasks.
