With over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tom began his career with Giles Insurance before moving into the London market, trading in Lloyd’s of London as a placing broker.
In June 2021, with the backing of HCC International Insurance and Profile Risk Solutions, Tom founded Cameron Specialty. Since then, he has led the company from strength to strength, driving its growth, expanding its product offerings, and establishing Cameron Specialty as a trusted and dynamic presence in the market.

Before joining Cameron Specialty, Louise held senior underwriting roles at Allianz Insurance and Ecclesiastical Insurance. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, she brings a wealth of knowledge and operational expertise to the team.
At Cameron Specialty, Louise oversees the company’s operational strategy and supports the continued development of underwriting processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and excellence across all areas of the business.

Lewis joined Cameron Specialty in June 2022 and has since progressed to the role of Underwriter. He began his insurance career at Profile Underwriting, where he supported senior underwriters in acquiring new business and managing both commercial property and liability risks.
At Cameron Specialty, Lewis plays an integral role within the underwriting team, contributing to the assessment, development, and management of the company’s portfolio. His analytical approach and commitment to service excellence make him a key member of the business.

George brings strong technical knowledge and practical experience to supporting our underwriting portfolio. He holds the Diploma in Insurance (Dip CII), reflecting a solid grounding in key areas of commercial insurance and professional standards in the sector.
With 6 years of experience in the market George has developed a keen focus on delivering pragmatic solutions across a range of classes, contributing to product development and risk assessment. His analytical approach and commitment to ongoing professional development help ensure that clients receive high-quality underwriting support and tailored risk solutions.

Kirsty joined Cameron Specialty in 2026 as a Property & Commercial Combined Underwriter, bringing with her over 14 years of experience in the insurance industry. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in Property Owners, Real Estate and Commercial underwriting, having held underwriting roles with a number of respected insurers and MGA businesses.
In her current role, Kirsty is responsible for underwriting Property Owners and Commercial Combined risks, managing broker relationships and supporting the continued growth of the business through profitable and sustainable underwriting. She is recognised for her technical knowledge, attention to detail and collaborative approach, and is committed to delivering excellent service to both brokers and capacity partners.

Brooke has been with Cameron Specialty since 2023, having originally joined as an Administrative Assistant before progressing into her current role as Operations Executive & Assistant Underwriter. During her time with the company, she has played a key role in supporting underwriting operations, contributing to business operations, and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Brooke continues to develop her underwriting expertise and is a valued member of the team, recognised for her attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to delivering excellent service. Her broad understanding of both underwriting and operational processes enables her to support the business effectively across multiple areas.

Alex is a Grade A A-Level student who has recently begun pursuing a career in insurance. As part of the Cameron Specialty team, Alex provides administrative and operational support across the business, assisting underwriters and brokers with documentation, data management, and client coordination.
Alex brings strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude to every task. Their academic achievement and enthusiasm for learning reflect a strong foundation for growth within Cameron Specialty’s dynamic environment.

Jack holds a 2:1 degree in Biology from the University of Bristol and is beginning his career in the insurance industry with Cameron Specialty. In his role as Administrative Assistant, Jack supports the team with underwriting administration, documentation, and day-to-day operational tasks.

Mackenzie joined Cameron Specialty in 2025 following her graduation from the University of Leicester, where she achieved a 2:1 degree in Criminology with Forensic Psychology. As part of the Cameron Specialty team, she provides administrative and operational support across the business, assisting with documentation, data management and the day-to-day activities that support both brokers and underwriters.
